Beaver Scouts

Beaver Scouts are often called Beavers.
They are the youngest section of the Scouting family in the United Kingdom.
The core age range for Beavers is 6 to 8 years. However, young people can join Beavers 3 months before their 6th Birthday. Beavers are open to both Boys & Girls.

Beaver Scouts are easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts.

Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.

We meet every Wednesday during term time between 5:15pm to 6:30pm at our Headquarters along side the Harbour.

Some Beaver Scout Colonies go on organised Sleepovers. These are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home. They take place in suitable buildings, often Scout centres.
